OGGETTO: alla c.a. Signor Sindaco Giacomo Gasparotto – Per favore, può liberarmi?
Gentile sindaco,
ci si scusa di disturbarLa per una questione di così poco conto.
Si tratta solo di un cane tenuto a catena da anni in un giardino del Suo comune.
Qualcuno si è preso la briga di parlarne pubblicamente e diverse persone hanno espresso sdegno con disegnini di visi afflitti o adirati o piangenti.
Altre, tutte donne e presumo non del luogo, si sono spinte un po’ oltre, chiedendo che Le giungano queste loro parole, riportate testualmente
“Liberate quel povero cane”

“I cani a catena in una città del Veneto devono essere liberati immediatamente. In una società che si definisce civile tali abusi non devono più essere tollerati! Se il Sindaco non fa rispettare la legge deve essere rimosso dall’incarico e mandato a zappare la terra così fa meno danni.”

È vero che viviamo tempi in cui il rispetto, la mancanza di empatia e la compassione non fanno più parte dell’essenza dell’umanità, ma possibile mai che al giorno d’oggi sia ancora permesso un simile atteggiamento nei confronti di una povera bestia indifesa da parte delle istituzioni che, a norma di legge!, hanno il dovere di difenderle?
Possibile che nessuno paghi mai lo scotto del non rispetto delle leggi dello stato e che ai tutori del territorio sia consentito voltare il viso dall’altra parte facendo finta di niente?
Che il Sindaco si scomodi ad agire risolvendo questa situazione e provvedendo poi a che non se ne creino delle altre.
E alla gente, che abbia il coraggio di parlare e denunciare queste prigionie!”

Sono un pugno di parole a mio favore ma per chi è nelle mie condizioni è la più dolce carezza.
Il mio guaito sommesso sembra non turbare i Suoi cittadini ma se la persona più elegante si preoccuperebbe anche solo per il dubbio di avere una macchiolina sul suo bel vestito così può essere che un piccolo rimorso assalga chi mi vede e mi gira la schiena.
Sono solo un cane ma mi piacerebbe far parte della Vostra comunità, basterebbe mi concedeste la possibilità.

Es tut mir leid, dass ich Sie mit etwas Unwichtigem belästigt habe.
Es ist nur ein Hund, der seit Jahren in einem Garten in Ihrer Stadt an einer Kette gehalten wird.
Jemand hat sich die Mühe gemacht, öffentlich darüber zu sprechen, und mehrere Personen haben ihre Empörung mit Zeichnungen von verzweifelten, wütenden oder weinenden Gesichtern zum Ausdruck gebracht.
Andere Personen, allesamt Frauen und vermutlich von weit her, gingen noch einen Schritt weiter und baten darum, ihre Worte wörtlich an Sie weiterzugeben.

Wenn der erste Bürger das Gesetz nicht durchsetzt, muss er seines Amtes enthoben und zum Erdarbeiten geschickt werden, damit er weniger Schaden anrichtet.“

Es stimmt, dass wir in Zeiten leben, in denen Respekt, Empathie und Mitgefühl nicht mehr zum Wesen der Menschheit gehören, aber ist es möglich, dass eine solche Haltung gegenüber einem armen, wehrlosen Tier heutzutage noch von Institutionen geduldet wird, die laut Gesetz die Pflicht haben, sie zu verteidigen?

Ja, ich weiß, es sind nur ein paar Worte zu meinen Gunsten, aber für diejenigen in meiner Situation sind sie die süßeste Liebkosung.
Ihre Bürger scheinen sich nicht an meinen stillen Klagen zu stören.
Aber wenn eine elegante Person sich schon wegen der geringsten Möglichkeit eines Flecks auf ihrem schönen Kleid Sorgen machen würde, dann könnte es auch sein, dass diejenigen, die mich sehen und mir den Rücken zukehren, von einem kleinen Anflug von Reue überkommen werden.
Ich bin nur ein Hund, aber ich würde mich sehr freuen, Teil Ihrer Gemeinschaft zu sein, wenn Sie mir die Chance dazu geben.
